We started Leftbrain to empower entertainers to take ownership of their finances and create lasting wealth. We do this through concierge business management and our proprietary mobile app. In 2021, we were named to Billboard’s Top Business Managers list and boast a perfect 100 net promoter score. Leftbrain was founded in 2019 and has offices in Los Angeles and Chicago.

Why Leftbrain? One Quote: Music is universal and it brings people together. I wanted to branch out from the corporate route and found Leftbrain. I thought the concept of the app was super cool and innovative and wanted to be a member of the team. Using my accounting background , I knew I could help artists manage their back-end life while they focus on their true craft;MUSIC.

Angie Hayden leads world-class organizations in incubating and executing bold product design. She worked as Head of Product Strategy for Fintruth and co-founded Hayden Design House. She has worked on product development with Microsoft, Deutsche Börse, Prudential Financial, Cigna, Salesforce, UCLA, and the U.S. Department of Defense. She graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in Mass Media; Film and Advertising.

Nicholas Judd always knew he wanted to be in the music industry. After graduating from Syracuse University with a degree in accounting, finance, and music industry, he joined Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman, LLP, where he worked on large client accounts across music, film and television, and fashion. Accounting came easily to him, and he engaged with artists with empathy and transparency, a rarity in business management. During his time at GR&F, Nicholas founded Entertainment Talk Shop, which produced quarterly networking events in New York City. He grew the organization to a team of seven with event attendance topping 200 professionals.
In 2014, Nicholas joined Livestyle, Inc., a global producer of live events, where he led a team overseeing all accounting and finance operations for Disco Donnie Presents, MMG, and Life In Color. He went on to form Judd Financial, LLC, which provided outsourced corporate accounting and finance services to concert promoters, music festivals, and record labels. Nicholas believed the prevailing problems in business management, which he witnessed firsthand at GR&F, could be solved through technology. In 2019, he co-founded Leftbrain to redefine what business management could and should be.

Andrew has 12 years of experience within the financial services and music industries. His expertise in audit and administration has ensured music creators and their management teams have been paid over $1 million in unallocated black box royalties. He has not only proven his effectiveness at maximizing earnings on behalf of clients, but also keen on educating teams on how to apply best practices to collect within the music copyright landscape.
Andrew is also an MBA candidate at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, IAFAR podcast host, clasisically trained multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, AIDS/LifeCycle cyclist, LGBT Los Angeles Music Youth Center volunteer, and Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles bass-baritone.
