New Polsky Founders’ Fund Fellowship Cohort Announced

The Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation has announced the 2020-21 Polsky Founders’ Fund Fellowship Cohort (PF3). PF3 is a resource available to any graduating University of Chicago student who is committed to growing a company after graduation. The goal of the program is to provide entrepreneurs with funding to sustain momentum on ventures.

Each quarter for the next year, the fellows will benefit from coaching sessions through the Polsky Center and receive the next installment of their funding, totaling to $24,000, in the form of a Simple Agreement for the Future Equity (SAFE) notes.

The new cohort is made up of:

  • Amanda Blank, MBA ’20, of Bratadah //
    Bratadah is a virtual fit model that allows you to input your measurements and search criteria and an output generates specific fit, size, and styles per broad ranges of bra brands specific to your criteria. (School Affiliation: Booth)
  • Eduardo Gonzalez Montez de Oca, MBA ’20, of FitAppetEat //
    FitappetEat is the combination of robust software with a network of body analyzers creating a complete platform for nutritionists to better manage their services and patients, translating into increased revenues for nutritionists. FitAppetEat participated in Phase II of the 2020 Edward L. Kaplan, ’71, New Venture Challenge (NVC). (Booth)
  • Nicholas Judd, MBA ’20, of Leftbrain //
    Leftbrain is a tech-enabled service that helps professional musicians better manage their finances. Leftbrain participated in the 2019 Polsky Accelerator. (Booth)
    Shai Kamin, MBA ’20, of Neesh //
  • Neesh partners with hostels to provide private, lockable “micro-rooms,” enabling travelers to sleep safely and comfortably without sacrificing fun, exciting social travel. Neesh participated in the 2019 Polsky Accelerator and was a finalist in the 2020 New Venture Challenge. (Booth)
  • Chelsie Patterson of Give Memento //
    Give Memento is a mobile application that personalizes digital cash gifting for special events. Give Memento participated in the 2019 Polsky Accelerator and in Phase II of the 2020 Alumni New Venture Challenge (ANVC). (Booth)
