Sep 2, 2021
Leftbrain named Pamela Ellgen as its Chief Marketing Officer, a promotion from her previous role as Marketing Director.
Ellgen will sit on the executive leadership team, influencing strategy, vision, marketing, and operations. She will report to Leftbrain CEO and co-founder Nic Judd and evaluate new and existing revenue streams, develop go-to-market strategies for new business units, and oversee the Leftbrain brand.
“Pamela has been a key member of our team for the last year, and since joining, has been integral in our explosive growth,” Judd says.
“In startups, there are few easy decisions but raising Pamela into the C-suite was absolutely one of them. She truly believes in our vision and has the innate talent and leadership skills to support us in our path to industry domination.”
Before Leftbrain, Ellgen managed marketing communications at WELL Health, ranked #170 on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in 2020.
Previously, she worked as a journalist covering business, arts, and entertainment in Portland, Oregon. She graduated with a B.A. from Washington State University, where she studied communications.
“Leftbrain’s innovative approach to empowering artists to build generational wealth drew me to the company,” Ellgen says. “I’m thrilled to work alongside a phenomenal team and serve some of the most talented artists in the industry.”
